Himalayan Mercantile Antiques and Ethnographica is a family run business in our second decade of collecting and dealing Himalayan art. We aim to provide the best merchandise in this genre, and we want to be absolutely sure the client's experience with Himalayan Mercantile is not just satisfactory, but genuinely pleasant and enriching as well. 

Based in Kathmandu, and maintaining an office and shipping center in the USA as well,  we roam the greater Himalayan region to collect our sale items and research the traditions that have given rise to these remarkable objects. Living in Nepal has afforded us a unique opportunity to access areas and people who have fostered our knowledge and enriched our collections. Few other sources can offer the range of items and more importantly - depth of contextual knowledge. Our interests extend well beyond commerce where these materials are concerned.
