This is nice example
of the Tibetan sewing kit. It is a leather case, with a section
that pulls out from the bottom. This pull out section is
used to hold various needles usually a couple of different sizes
to accord with the needs of sewing different kinds of fabric.
The needle pouch attaches to the belt by the leather cord. This
particular needle case is distinguished by nice silver work,
which featuring a flying dragon. Condition of this item is very
good, and it is a nice find for the collector of Himalayan /
Tibetan ethnographica.
