A handsome old Nepali khukuri with a hand carved wooden scabbard. The khukuri is standard equipment in rural Nepal, and this one exemplifies the classic village khukuri - in both form and function. This particular one is from mid to early 20th century, it is in good condition with expected wear.  It has a well carved scabbard with a lovely patina and a grip fashioned from aluminum with brass highlights.  A very good piece for collectors.
