Classic animist influenced mask from Nepal's mid-western middle hills area.  The mask has a great form, being a deeply concave piece the sides of which really fit the form of the masker's face.  It has classical middle hills features, with the remnants of facial hair and the pronounced adze marks on the surface of the dense hard wood have worn to a pleasant sheen.
