A classic mithun hide shield of the sort favored by Konyak and Phom Naga warriors.  The shield is thick and stiff like wood, and was capable of stopping arrows as well as fending off blows from Dao and spear. The shield has a convex form with attached animal skull and dyed goat hair embellishment and lime based pigment designs. The handle is fashioned of cane and rattan.
