Exemplary Konyak Naga, multi-strand beadwork.  The Naga are renowned for their stunning artistry where personal adornment is concerned... and their bead work is top notch. Naga women wore many different kinds of jewelry simultaneously, and especially on festive occasions you might have found the more well dressed women wearing many necklaces like this at once, in various vivid and bold colors.  Note the original clasp has been replaced with a modern button.  This is as collected.
